The Parti Radical de Gauche (PRG) was founded in 1972 as the result of a split in the centrist Parti Radical, under the name Mouvement de la Gauche Radicale-Socialiste (MGRS), to be renamed into the Mouvement des Radicaux de Gauche (MRG) in 1973. Shortly after its founding, the new party joined the Parti Socialiste and the Parti Communiste Français in the Union de la Gauche, an electoral alliance which lasted from 1972 to 1977, and has remained a close ally of the Parti Socialiste afterwards.
In 1996, the MRG was renamed into the Parti Radical-Socialiste, to adopt the present name in 1998, due to the legal proceedings opened by the
Parti Radical, which considered itself the only legal user of the
name. The party has participated in all the Socialist-led governments
of the Fifth Republic.
In December 2017, the PRG merged with the Parti Radical into the Mouvement
radical (Radical Movement). However, in February 2019, part of its
former members split from the Mouvement radical and refounded the
party.

The flag adopted after the party was refounded in 2019 displays the logo on white field. The logo consists of large initials "PRG" and the words "le centre gauche" ("the center left") in smaller-sized letters below, all in a dark grayish-blue color, with a dark yellow line beneath all; the text and line are all aligned along the left edge. Very few photos of the flag are available online; originating from Twitter, they are currently available only directly through Google image search [flag photos from Twitter: 1, 2, 3], because the tweets are no longer available after the recent changes to that social network.
In late April or early May 2021, the logo was modified further [PRG website - Home page, saved on 2021-04-17 and on 2021-05-14]:
dark grayish-blue color was changed into a very dark gray (FOTW color
G++ or very close) and dark yellow was changed into light blue; the
typeface was also changed. There is currently no evidence that the
change was applied to the flags.

The earlier flag of the PRG, introduced together with the logo and sold at the party webshop in 2009 (no longer shown online), had the field in bordeaux color and the party name inscribed in white, while the disc was colored as in the stand-alone logo. Such flags were used at the May Day demonstrations in 2009 in Creil (photos). A rather light shade of the field color was employed, which was difficult to distinguish from red sometimes, depending on the picture taking conditions.
The party logo adopted in 2009 [see Image of 2009 logo from Wikipedia] consisted of a large blue uppercase "R", set over a disc with the color changing from yellow to white so as to produce the illusion of a sphere, and the complete party name inscribed in blue. The flag introduced together with the logo and sold at the party webshop in 2009 (no longer shown online), displayed the modified logo, with the party name inscribed in white, on the field in bordeaux color. Such flags were used at the May Day demonstrations in 2009 in Creil [Report from the May Day 2009 demonstrations in Creil]. A rather light shade of the field color was employed, which was difficult to distinguish from red sometimes, depending on the picture taking conditions.

By early 2010 [Website of the Aisne department federation of the PRG - Report from Amiens on 2010-01-30], the flag field was changed into yellow and the
party name into blue; the disc was changed into the same yellow
(uniform) color and separated from the field by a blue fimbriation. An
optional charge was the party website URL, "www.planeteradicale.org",
inscribed in blue beneath the logo. Such flags remained in use for
some time after the logo had been changed again in 2013 [Report from Chelles on 2013-07-13].

the 2013 logo from Wikimedia Commons.
The logo adopted in 2013 [Image of 2013 logo from Wikimedia Commons] consisted of large initials "PRG" and the full party name in smaller letters below, all in blue, while the small disc in yellow-to-white color gradient, with the blue letter "R" upon it and fimbriated blue itself, was placed to the right of the abbreviation and raised like a superscript letter. On the flags [Ouest-France website - Report from Caen on 2014-09-14], this was displayed on a yellow field, while the disc color was changed into the uniform yellow, same as in the field.
In 2016, the logo was changed again [Image of 2016 logo from Wikipedia]: blue and yellow colors were
changed into much darker shades, the same as used in the
post-refoundation logo or very similar, and the disc lost its
fimbriation. This was used until the 2017 merger and also for a short
time after the 2019 refoundation [PRG website - Home page, saved at the Internet Archive on 2019-03-02], the latter logo having been
adopted sometime between May and December 2019 [PRG website - Home page saved at the Internet Archive on 2019-05-29 and on 2019-12-28].
